St Francis Honoured in the 2019 CHKS Awards

St Francis Private Hospital was shortlisted in the CHKS Quality Improvement Award and was the only Irish hospital honoured in the 2019 CHKS Awards.

According to CHKS, which carried out an exhaustive three day inspection of St Francis last April, the Quality Improvement Award "recognises significant improvements to patient care and the patient experience, as well as staff welfare, safety and morale".

The Top Hospitals award is based on the evaluation of over 20 key performance indicators covering safety, clinical effectiveness, health outcomes, efficiency, patient experience and quality of care, in all of which St Francis scored top marks.

The hospital's CEO Brian Conlan says that being shortlisted for the award is a testament to the expertise, hard work and dedication of its 80 members of staff.

Green Light Laser Services

Green Light Laser Services

St Francis Private Hospital is delighted to announce the introduction of green light laser services for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

GreenLight uses laser energy to remove enlarged prostate tissue, resulting in an open channel for urine flow-through and a quick return to a life that's free of BPH symptoms.

GreenLight Laser Therapy is suitable for most patients with an enlarged prostate, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

GreenLight Laser Therapy is typically a day case procedure; meaning your patient can return home hours after the procedure, and can return to normal, non-strenuous activities within days.
