St Francis Private Hospital is delighted to announce that we have introduced an e-referral system in junction with Clanwilliam and Healthlink. GP practices can now email referral letters electronically to St Francis Private Hospital. This provides a fast safe way of sending referral letters and reduces administration time in the GP Practice.
You can send a referral during the consultation with the patient through the following software packages Helix, Socrates and Health Practice Manager, the referral is sent through Healthlink which has a long standing track record in Irish Healthcare as a safe and efficient delivery system of patient information.
We have created user guides below on how to send an eReferral to St Francis Private Hospital through the following Clanwilliam software packages: Socrates, Healthone and Health Practice Manager.
St Francis Private Hospital has also joined with Healthmail to offer GP's another option to refer patients via secure clinical email. We are delighted to be able to offer GP's two new options to securely send clinical information to us i.e. eReferrals and Healthmail emails.
The Healthmail service is provided by the Primary Care Directorate of the HSE, managed by eHealth Ireland, and supported by the Irish College of General Practitioners, the Irish Pharmacy Union and Nursing Homes Ireland which allows care providers to send and received information securely and in line with GDPR requirements.
